Lake Barber is located off of Edwards Road in Newtown, Ohio. Lake Barber offers beautiful scenery for fishing, walking and enjoying what nature has to offer.  This 52-acre spring-fed, man-made lake is a result of the reclamation of a limestone surface mine excavated in the 1980's, acquired by the Village of Newtown in 2012. Water quality of the lake is excellent, as evidenced by the wide variety of fish and wildlife in the area.  The 1.5 mile path is available for walking, running and biking on a trail that takes you through woody shaded areas and segments with spectacular views of our community. We hope you enjoy your time while visiting Lake Barber and the beautiful amenities is offers.
