Digital Permitting is here……..Learn about digital permitting in Hamilton County:
Hamilton County is now using a transformative upgrade to our customer service delivery via the new CAGIS ezTrak Portal. Existing customers might be familiar with the old ezTrak to obtain basic information to track permits, but the new ezTrak allows our customers to navigate the entire building, earthworks, floodplain, storm water, subdivision and zoning permit processes from anywhere internet access is available.
This enhancement represents a major milestone in modernizing how contractors, developers, residents and businesses interact with the County, making the submission and tracking of applications for coordinated building and development projects easier and more efficient.
What Makes the New ezTrak a Game-Changer?
The new ezTrak will allow you to submit for a permit, pay fees, or schedule an inspection anytime or anywhere. Gamechanger! Who needs to waste time driving downtown, finding a parking spot, going through security, or even going outside when you can use the new ezTrak. A Holistic Approach to Collaboration
The new CAGIS ezTrak consolidates input and coordination from a range of County departments during the building permit and subdivision processes from the following agencies:
- Floodplain
- Stormwater
- Greater Cincinnati Waterworks (GCWW)
- Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD)
- Local Fire Departments
- Hamilton County Engineer’s Office (HCEO)
- Hamilton County Public Health (HCPH)
- Hamilton County Conservation District
Please note that partner agencies may still require paper submission for their processes (such as GCWW and MSD availability/concept letters, local fire departments approval, HCEO/township driveway permits and access management approvals, HCPH private water and sewer system approvals and food licenses). However, working together with our partner CAGIS, some of these agencies are planning to go digital soon.
