The Village Quilters

Meet Saturday mornings at 8:30am at Station No. 22 – Newtown Fire House – in the Community Room  located at 7130 Main Street.   This is a non-profit charitable organization making quilts and various other items to warm the heart of others.  The quilters gladly give to those in need of a piece of comfort from home, such as:  Children’s Hospital, Hospice, Inter Parish Ministry, cancer patients/survivors or to those in need of just a simple hug!

The Village Quilters are always in need of fabric, quilt batting, fleece, sewing notions of all sort, and of course, cash is always appreciated.

All are WELCOME!  Experience is not required; everyone in the group did not begin as seasoned quilter.  Please join us for coffee, tea and the spirit of giving!
